Professional Background
Most recently, Julia has used her experience to support wealth managers in addressing the intricate planning needs of their multi-millionaire clients – both in designing and delivering holistic, intergenerational planning strategies and in providing ongoing servicing support with a particular focus on tax efficiency.
She also has experience in process design, training, technical support, compliance, product launches, complaint resolution and media relations.
She had a very short stint in local commercial radio before moving to the world of financial services.
Educational Background
Having had an interest in finance from a young age, Julia combined that with her other passion of media to obtain a Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance with Media and Communications. She achieved Chartered Financial Planner status and became a Fellow of the Personal Financial Society in 2010, a real accomplishment after a final flurry of exams in the same year as becoming a Mum. She was recognised as The Insurance Institute of Cheltenham & Gloucester’s PFS Student of the Year but collection of the award was delayed by the early arrival of her son.

Personal attributes and interests
Julia is down-to-earth, grounded and authentic. She is known for her straightforward approach with an exceptional level of patience, a genuine inclination to assist others, and an unwavering commitment to identifying pragmatic solutions and making continuous improvements.
She is a keen genealogist who has recorded a detailed ancestry dating back to the 18th century. As a mum and wife of avid cyclists, she’ll tag along on the odd bike ride (when the route is flat, the weather is fine and the itinerary includes a pub lunch!)
