Professional Background
Jamie's career over the past decade and a half has been diverse and impactful. He has held a variety of senior roles in compliance, advice, change and strategy and, at just 23, became the youngest person to become a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the PFS.
In more recent years, Jamie has held the role of Head of Division – Strategy & Change for one of the largest UK wealth managers, a role he left earlier this year. His remit was far reaching and included being the portfolio owner for all strategic change related to the advice process and responsibility for relationships with all outsourced advicetech firms.

Jamie has received multiple award nominations in recent years, including one of his teams winning Development Team of the Year at the UK IT Industry Awards and a runner up in the FStech Awards 2023 for Best Use of AI in Financial Services.
Educational Background
Choosing experience over academia initially and avoiding university, Jamie didn't stop at becoming a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Manager. He pursued an MBA from the University of Birmingham, graduating with distinction in 2022. His dissertation focused on analysing the advice gap in the UK and how it is impacted by personal behaviours and the technology available.

Community Involvement
Outside of work Jamie is a trustee of two charities in his local community. He’s Project Chair at the Dolphins Recreation Centre who are responsible for a number of community buildings and open space in his home town of Tetbury, where he’s busy leading a multi-million pound redevelopment project. His second trustee role is at Tetbury Cricket Club where he’s the treasurer and also claims to turn his arm over occasionally as a leg spin bowler.
